Realmatize turns a photo of your space and a request ("add a reading corner with a floor lamp") into a design built from real products: a photorealistic image of your room with the change made, where everything new maps to a real, buyable product with its live price and a link to the retailer. The plan totals what it would cost to actually do it, and you can compare, adjust and export it.

JPG, PNG, HEIC or WebP up to 20 MB. A straight-on, well-lit photo that shows the whole area you want to change gives the best results. Phone photos are fine — HEIC from an iPhone works directly. On a computer, click Send a photo from your phone and scan the QR code to shoot the room with your phone and have it land in the picker.

You can let Realmatize do it. Clean the room removes clutter, mess, people and pets while keeping every piece of furniture in place; Clear the room empties it down to its structure (built-ins like fireplaces and shelving stay). Each costs ½ design credit and can be undone before you design.

Anything you would tell a designer: add a piece, restyle a corner, redecorate for a season, or "make this room feel like a Scandinavian retreat". Pick a style chip (Scandinavian, mid-century, minimalist, boho, industrial, Japandi, coastal, cozy) and an optional budget, and set your project's room type so the plan starts from what designers know about that kind of room in that style.

The plan is laid out the way a professional would: furniture anchored to walls, corners and existing pieces at the right depth, clearances kept, real product dimensions checked against the spot, and no clutter — in a room that is already full, the designer swaps a piece for the one you asked for rather than squeezing another in.

Only when that makes the better room, and only for what your request needs — a dated lamp gives way to the lamp you asked for; everything else stays exactly as it is. If you want nothing replaced, say so ("keep my furniture"), and when you attach a specific item of your own it is added, never swapped in for something else. Walls, floors, windows and the room's architecture are never changed by a design.

You can watch the sample demos without one. Designing with your own photo needs a free account and credits — from a plan, or from the one-time Design one space option if you would rather not subscribe. Without a plan you can save one project.

Your plan comes with design credits, and every image you make draws from them: a new design, an edit or a regeneration. A standard design is 1 design credit. The Quick style counts as ½, high fidelity (Pro) adds ½, and 2K/4K output (Pro) counts as 2 or 4, because they cost more to produce — the cost is shown before you run, and halves are tracked exactly (2½ left means two standard designs and one Quick one).

Failed runs are refunded automatically — you're only charged for work that completes.

Yes. Design one space is a one-time $4.99 purchase — one design of one space at standard settings, with the full shopping list and one saved project. The credits expire 90 days after purchase, and you can buy again whenever you like. It is also how you add a design on top of a plan: extra designs are $4.99 each for everyone.

Plan design credits reset each billing month. Extra designs you buy ($4.99 each) last 90 days from purchase and are used after the month's allowance.

A project pack adds 5 project slots on top of your plan's cap for a small monthly fee, and can be cancelled independently of your plan from the billing portal.

• Compare before and after with the wipe slider, and turn on product markers to see which item is which.
• Adjust: swap any product for an alternate, remove an item, move objects, or regenerate with a follow-up request.
• Shop: every card links to the retailer with its live price; export the shopping list as PDF, CSV or Markdown.

Yes — pick an occasion chip (fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, winter, Valentine's, Easter, spring, summer, birthday). Occasion plans are decor-only: they tidy, then add the decorations, and never move your furniture. The in-season options are shown first, and the sample demo follows the season too.

With Email updates on in your preferences, Realmatize re-checks the prices of the products in your saved plans once a week and emails you one summary of what moved. Reopened plans show the fresh prices.

Quick idea visualizers for your own photo. The Interior Visualizer tries paint colors on your walls, ceilings, doors, cabinets and counters, adds or removes trim, and changes the fabric of bedding, curtains and furniture. The Remodel Visualizer previews new flooring, tile, counters, cabinet fronts, vanities and lighting. The Exterior Visualizer recolors siding, doors, shutters and trim, and swaps door and window styles. The Landscape Visualizer transforms your outdoor space — lawn, flower beds, trees and shrubs, paths, lighting and garden features. Everything defaults to "No change" — pick only what you want to see different, and your picks build into a summary you can edit before visualizing.

A visualizer shows the idea in about a minute. To shop it, save it to a project and open it on the main page — the designer redraws it with real products and a shopping list.

Yes. Beyond the built-in palettes you can pick any custom color, or upload a photo of a color, fabric, or texture you love — a paint chip, a linen swatch, a door you saw on a walk. Up to 6 of your requested changes can each carry their own photo, and the engine applies each photo's look to the thing you attached it to.

A visualizer render is a single image generation and costs half a design at your settings: ½ design credit at standard settings (1 at 2K, 2 at 4K). The "analyze my room" suggestions cost ½ design credit and return three tailored ideas that fill in the lab's controls when you tap them.

They're AI visualizations — great for judging whether an idea works in your space, but not construction documents or color-accurate proofs. Every product in a design is checked against the retailer's own photo before the design is shown, and the rest of your space is kept as it is in your photo. Always sample real paint and order fabric swatches before committing.

Yes. A design can draw a product slightly larger or smaller than it really is, shift a colour or texture, or place something where it would not quite fit. We check every item against the retailer's photo and measure the room, but the picture is a guide, not a guarantee. Before you buy, open each product's page and confirm its dimensions, colour and material, measure the spot it is going into, and make sure it suits your taste in person — returns are between you and the retailer.

From real retailers, matched to what the design shows — visually where possible, by description otherwise, and filtered so a listing is the right kind and size for its spot. Prices are pulled live when the plan is made and can change at the retailer afterward. When no good match exists for an item, the plan says so rather than showing a lookalike. Open its card and pick an alternate, remove it, or regenerate with a note ("a smaller table", "a black lamp"). Adjustments use credits like any generation; failed ones are refunded.

From the billing portal, linked on your account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan and remaining credits stay active until the end of the paid period. Our refund policy covers the details.

Sign in with email and password or with Google. Two-factor authentication with an authenticator app is available from the Security pane of your account; we recommend it and never require it.

Photos you upload are used to generate your results and are stored with your saved projects; deleting a project (or your account) deletes its photos. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
